This morning, founder, Elizabeth Greenberg, presented Non-Scents at a 1 Million Cups pitch event in a Durham, North Carolina co-working space called, The Frontier. An event powered by the Kauffman Foundation, 1 Million Cups is meant to support and encourage entrepreneurship activity and collaboration among communities and allows entrepreneurs to pitch their business idea every Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM. Two companies are chosen to present at each event and the audience is there for questions, suggestions, and of course, networking. This was the first pitch Elizabeth has done since Non-Scents added new research findings and market opportunities. For many, including co-founder, Mimi Greenberg, presenting is anything but fun. However, Elizabeth says, Presenting for me is like my chance to get on stage and give my audience a performance. Non-Scents is such a meaningful company, but also super fun so my goal is to present it in a way that makes my audience experience a range of emotions from empathetic, curious, and inspired to humored, excited, and eager to learn more. Here's a sneak peek at Elizabeth's presentation this morning!
