Around this time every year, the buzzing phrase is, “Hearth Health”. You may have even received a request on Facebook to publish a red heart in your status to remind people to take care of their heart. Time and again, you may also hear the same advice on how to improve your heart health. We’ve taken the opportunity here to blend advice from organizations like Go Red for Women, Health Magazine, and the Mayo Clinic to create a Heart Healthy Cheat Sheet for you to turn to when making your heart healthy decisions.

Heart health strategy table

Right to the Source

Go Red for Women has, “Life’s Simple 7”; a list they put together of seven simple things you can do to help manage your heart’s health. The three key tips we’ve provided in our heart healthy table above come from that list so be sure to check it out in full for even more detail. The Mayo Clinic offers a similar list on their post, “Strategies to Prevent Heart Disease”. This particular article really goes into detail on each strategy so if you’re looking for a good read on this, look no further!

We also paid a visit to Health Magazine’s publication on, “18 Superfoods for your Heart”, by Amanda Gardner. She includes food like salmon, avocado, dark chocolate, red wine, green tea, tomatoes, and potatoes, just to name a few. If you’re thinking of making a meal plan, this is a great article to reference. It also includes the key benefits of each and what nutrients they have that help your heart.

Since we really want you to be heart healthy, and feel sexy while doing so, we’ve included additional resources below to help you on your way.
